Laila Al Hammadi serves as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Relations at WaneGlobal, where she leads the firm's engagement with institutional counterparts, sovereign wealth funds, and strategic partners across the Gulf and international markets.
Prior to joining WaneGlobal, Laila held a Vice President position at Al Rajhi Capital, one of Saudi Arabia's leading investment banking institutions and a cornerstone of the Kingdom's capital markets ecosystem. In this role, she was at the center of originating and executing transactions within the investment banking division, developing both a deep understanding of Gulf institutional dynamics and an extensive network of senior relationships across Saudi Arabia's financial and sovereign landscape.
At WaneGlobal, Laila applies this institutional expertise to developing and maintaining the firm's relationships with key partners, co-investors, and institutional stakeholders across the Gulf, Africa, and North America — playing a central role in WaneGlobal's positioning at the intersection of global capital and high-growth markets.
Ms. Al Hammadi holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
