Eng. Mohammed Alkaff Al Hashmi joined WaneGlobal in 2022 as Senior Vice President Private Equity.
Mohammed began his career as an intelligence network engineer at Huawei. In addition to technology, he has extensive experience in finance and management. He is a serial entrepreneur who believes in projects that have a purpose and can bring value to the community. Hence, he launched MCPM Automation in the MENA region which provides advanced technologies to support manufacturing, smart cities, energy, sustainability and environment.
Currently, he is the CEO of MCPM MENA, MCPM Holding and UIVentures, he is also a partner and board member of CYNAX labs, Kaptive, co-founder and board member of IslamicCoin (which is considered one of the largest blockchain projects) and others, taking care of business development, growth and strategy. Mohammed is also a partner and board member of the Quant7 fund which invests in research and development in the medical and healthcare sectors, and unique Blue Ocean companies such as Cellvera and Prepaire, as well as finding merger and acquisition opportunities.
